Heyyy!

My name is Steph, and I've been writing fiction ever since COVID (yep, one of those). My first thriller was The Final Scene. It sold 10,000 copies in the first two months, which blew me away. Then I got blown away again a year later when Make No Mistake got a New York Times review. Pinch me, I can die happy.

Prior to The Final Scene, I had two short fiction pieces chosen for anthologies that went on to be Bram Stoker Award finalists.

My characters are women I'd probably be friends with IRL who end up in high-stakes situations. Whether it's kidnapping, a cult, or a vacation gone wrong, I love writing women who are in way over their heads, but manage to fight their way through anyway. Many of my books are set in my Pacific Northwest stomping grounds, but I'm enjoying branching out into other settings, too.

I'm a lifelong PNW girl and I currently live in Idaho. When I'm not working on my next story, I'm traveling, doing yoga, thrifting for vintage clothes, or devouring books.
