"The Last Claim Jumper"

(Minor spoilers for The Vein, so definitely read that one first)

It's 1865 and Len and Frank are discouraged about getting skunked by the California Gold Rush.

A rumor of untouched silver in the mountains of Idaho seems too good to be true, but upon arrival, the men find that it is indeed true. Nobody is there.

But laying a claim won't be as easy as they think, especially when they must fight for their lives against an evil they never saw coming.​
